EAA Chapter 1027 Monthly Meeting: Chapter meetings typically occur on the second Sunday of the month at the clubhouse at Willits Airport/Ells Field, at Boonville Airport or another announced location. Lunch, beverage and dessert are provided for a $8 donation to the chapter. All pilots of experimental and certified aircraft as well as people interested in aviation are welcome to attend! 6th Annual Boonville Spring Fly-In
We kick off the 2016 spring flying season with the 6th Annual Boonville Spring Fly-In sponsored by EAA Chapter 1027 and co-hosted by Cap'n Kirk Wilder and the Boonville (D83) wing members of EAA 1027. This year we will be serving great barbecued burgers with all of the trimmings, cold beverages, and desert with ice cream. Because of the popularity of this event, we will adding an additional burger chef and additional grill for faster service. This is a great venue to see old friends, display your plane with certificate provided, and do some hangar flying, and maybe take home some cash from the 50/50 cash drawing. We'll see you there, Sunday, April 10th from 11AM to 3PM.

Willits EAA Chapter 1027 is sponsoring this great fly-in opportunity to have brunch at one of Northern California's most beautiful golf courses, Brooktrails. This course has spectacular redwood trees among the professionally manicured fairways and greens kept by a full time professional greens keeper. This course has hosted a number of celebrity events throughout the years, and this is your opportunity to experience it's beauty.
Breakfast or lunch will be prepared by "The Grill" at the golf course, serving great food with a variety of delicious selections, prepared to order, with reserved seating under the towering redwoods. You and your guest will be provided courtesy transportation from Ells Field Willits Municipal Airport (O28) for the 5 minute ride to the golf course, and return. Guests will have time to play 9 holes of golf, or a round of the popular Disc Golf after dining. Rental clubs and discs available. Treat yourself and your companions to a luxury brunch on Sunday, September 11th at the historic Benbow Inn, just south of Garberville, CA on the Eel River in the heart of the California Redwoods. This famous hotel has catered to pilots since their beginning in 1926 with aircraft landing on the golf course road and taxiing to the hotel.
Dine on the beautiful patio where Spencer Tracy, Alan Ladd, Clark Gable and others dined on the always excellent food with excellent service. We won't be landing on the golf course, but will be landing at the Garberville airport, O16, where you and your guests we be picked up by Benbow Inn staff and transported to the hotel, and back. The first airport pick up will be at 10:30 AM for the 15 minute ride to the hotel Sunday morning, September 11th. Don't miss this treat.
